What is Body Stress Release (BSR)?
Body Stress Release (BSR) is a technique used to assist the body, with its natural ability to maintain and heal itself naturally and gently. A light precise stimulation/impulse is applied to the body where tension is stored to encourage the body to relax, and release stored tension, which usually manifests as backache, tension headaches, fatigue, muscle spasms and even postural distortions.

My aching leg pain is gone !! That draining, constant pain is no longer … BSR has definitely made a difference in my life, and my work as I stand a lot on some days… I will be back for my regular maintenance sessions as discussed, thank you Michelle, the impact BSR has had for me is such a relief.

Ek is 58 jaar en werk voldag by ‘n dokter se praktyk. Ek het vir ongeveer 2 jaar lae rug pyn, wat ek aan my lang werksure toeskryf. Laas jaar het die pyn baie erg begin word, en ek het kruppel begin loop a.g.v van die regter been wat lam begin word het. Ek kon nie meer uit ‘n stoel opstaan nie, en ook nie in die nag omdraai in die bed nie. Dit was baie pynlik. My dokter het my vir x-strale gestuur wat gewys het dat my derde en vierde rugwerwel geskuif het en dit druk ‘n senuwee vas. Ek was na ‘n spesialis verwys wat ‘n rug operasie aanbeveel het a.g.v die drukking op die senuwee. My man het vir Michelle ontmoet, wat toe dadelik ‘n afspraak gereel het. Na die eerste sessie het ek nie veel geloof in BSR gehad nie. Ek wou ‘n vinnige oplossing he. My man het my aangemoedig on terug te gaan. Ek is toe vir 5 sessies elke tweede week. Ek het elke keer teruggegaan en begin om minder pyn pille te drink. Sy het my ook geleer om nie my rug te veel onder spanning to sit nie. Die posisie waarin ek sit is ook aangepas. Dit het toe elke keer beter begin gaan. In November laasjaar het ek besluit om die pyn pille heeltemal te los, en net vir BSR te gaan. Toe gebeur dit!! Dit het met elk sessie beter begin gaan. Ek kon self opstaan, en het heeltemal normaal begin loop. Ek volg haar raad om my rug in stand te hou en gaan nou elke ses weke vir ‘n sessie . Dit is wonderlik om geen pyn te he nie en ‘n goeie kwaliteit lewe te lei, en dit sonder ‘n operasie.
